Warrenton, VA – October 26, 2018, Commonwealth’s Attorney Jim Fisher formally welcomed three new staff members to the prosecution team this year.
Damien R. Sharp joins us as the office’s Administrative Manager of operations (Upper photo second from left, last row). A Warrenton, VA native and resident, Damien is a 2015 graduate of Hampden-Sydney College where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with Rhetoric as a minor field of concentration. As a paralegal with the Richmond firm of Troutman Sanders, LLP, Damien was assigned to special projects and substantial litigation matters. He also maintained databases and prepared litigation documents. Damien is a graduate of Fauquier County High School.
Brenda Frazier, formerly worked within the U.S. intelligence arena and is a highly accomplished paralegal and manager. She has over 30 years of legal, organizational leadership and administrative experience. In the private sector, as well as her time in U.S. Intelligence, Brenda provided litigation, administrative and paralegal support in highly complex matters. She often assisted during settlement negotiations and even authored policy documents. Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, an Associates Degree in Business Management and she is a certified paralegal since 2009. Brenda is a Warrenton resident and we are fortunate to have her on board as our Senior Administrative Associate.
Courtney Benshoof is a 2018 graduate of Liberty University. Courtney earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History, and during the Fall of 2018 earned a Master’s Juris Degree in American Legal Studies. Her coursework included a variety of computer applications along with advanced paralegal studies in the criminal law field. She is also a Warrenton VA resident and a Fauquier County native who graduated from Liberty High School. She joins our office as a Legal Secretary handling a variety of criminal litigation matters.
